Firm Overview. The law office of Shawn R. Dominy, Attorney at Law, is located in Worthington, Ohio, and serves the greater Columbus and suburban area, as well as surrounding counties in Central Ohio. The practice is limited to representing clients charged with OVI/DUI, criminal offenses, and traffic offenses.

Attorney. I am attorney Shawn Dominy. I have been practicing criminal defense since 1997, and my experience includes thousands of cases, including many jury trials, in jurisdictions throughout central Ohio. For more information on me, please see my attorney profile

Office Operation. You will find that my office is client-friendly. We speak in plain English and we are accessible, but we are professional and discreet. My office uses modern technology (for communication, document preparation, research, investigation, and case management), so we provide legal services efficiently and effectively. I communicate with my clients regularly so they are informed of all developments with their cases and so I may answer all of their questions.

Office Location. My office is conveniently located near Interstate 270 in Worthington, Ohio on the north end of Columbus. The office's proximity to Interstate 270 makes it easily accessed from all areas of central Ohio. From this location, I regularly practice in Franklin County courts, Delaware County courts, and throughout central Ohio. As my office has a suburban location, finding the office and parking is easier than law offices located downtown. Although the office has a suburban location, I am in court on a daily basis and therefore have good working relationships with prosecuting attorneys, judges, court staff, and other lawyers.

Firm Size. My firm consists of one attorney and one legal assistant. I believe that operating a criminal defense practice is a personal service business. I can best provide that personal service if I limit the number of cases I accept and handle every case personally, rather than supervising cases handled by associates.

Fees. I typically charge flat fees, so clients know at the beginning of the case exactly how much my representation will cost. I offer a free initial case evaluation, but a retainer is required before my representation begins. My office accepts Visa and Mastercard.
